Taylor Michelle is a retreat chef and sensory wellness designer.
Diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in her early 30s, her relationship to health shifted toward reducing inflammation, supporting digestion, and working with the body rather than against it. What began as a personal exploration of nourishment, spatial design, and daily ritual evolved into a practice rooted in helping others feel more regulated, supported, and at ease.
Her career spans work with global icons such as Madonna, the creation of digital platforms, including Tiny Bodega, and the co-creation of community-healing experiences with Orē.
When she’s not in the kitchen or designing retreat menus, Taylor can be found traveling in search of new ingredients, stocking her pantry, or turning small moments—tea service, a bath, a late-afternoon snack—into opportunities for rest and recalibration.
What is a sensory wellness designer?
A sensory wellness designer shapes how people feel through food, space, ritual, and environment, using seasonality, aesthetics, and sensory cues to support balance, mood, and overall well-being.
